Personal Injury Solicitor
Job details
Job Types: Full-time/Part-time
Salary: £35,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
Schedule: 8 hour shift
Supplemental pay types: Bonus scheme
Role
We are looking for candidates that:
- Candidates will need experience in claimant personal injury and have at least 2 years’ PQE.
- Have excellent client care and communication skills (oral and written).
- Apply critical thinking and analysis to solve problems by using multiple sources of information to make reasoned decisions supported by relevant evidence.
- Negotiate solutions to clients’ issues by identifying all parties’ interests, objectives and limits and presenting options for compromise persuasively.
- Plan, manage and progress legal cases proactively, taking into account how they can maximise cases and achieve the best outcome for the clients and firm.
- Establish and maintain effective and professional relations with colleagues, clients and third parties and responding effectively to their particular needs, objectives, priorities and constraints.
- Have experience in pre-litigated and litigated personal injury matters (covering RTA, EL, PL & serious injuries).
- Have relevant legal expertise in personal injury.

Paralegal / Litigation Executive

Salary: £19,000.00-£21,000.00 per year
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:30
Ability to commute/relocate: Greenford, UB6 9EH
Remote position is not available.
Supplemental pay types: Bonus scheme, Performance bonus
Role
You will get to work on every stage of a personal injury case so you gain the experience and knowledge you need to become a successful litigator. You will benefit from hands on training by a Senior Solicitor so you can develop expertise in personal injury law and manage your own case load. You will also get an opportunity to work on other areas of law, including housing disrepair and immigration.
Main duties include:
- Drafting protocol letters, court documents and other documents such as witness statements and schedules of loss.
- Researching case law.
- Liaising with defendant insurers and solicitors.
- Liaising with counsel and experts.
- Reviewing medical records and drafting chronologies.
- Speaking with clients and drafting letters of advice.
- Attending hearings, conferences.
- Taking initial enquiries from new clients.
- Attending fee earner meetings to discuss new enquiries and caseloads.
The successful candidate will have a:
- University degree (minimum of 2:1).
- Passion for law and assisting vulnerable clients (work experience is not required but is advantageous).
- Self-motivated and proactive.
- An excellent communicator.
